I grew up in the area and went to the show several times as a kid back in the 70's when it was the airshow to go to. I have been back several times over the last several years and it seems to me like this show has lost some of what it once was but nevertheless is still worth going to if you like seeing airplanes and such. My biggest complaint is what they have done to photographers by eliminating the photo pit or moving it to the end of the show line in favor of more premium box and club level seating. They have really cheated the general spectator as the general public seating is also pushed further down and away from show center. I also do not like the pauses between acts.
Dont get me wrong there are still opportunities and most will enjoy the planes. Be prepared as food and beverage is overpriced but that is typical at events like this.
My family and I have went to the air show that passed 2 years now. We have a fantastic time and we love seeing all the different aircrafts perform. It is definitely worth going to see and making the memories with your kids. We will definitely be back.
LOVE THE AIR SHOW! Took the grandkids to the best air show in the world! Came in on rt 40 and got right in! Temperature is perfect ! Wear white or lighter clothing so you don't burn. Food and drink are avaliable. KIDS WILL LOVE IT!
My father took me several times when I was a kid. I finally was able to take my son here in 2023 and it brought back so many memories. If you have never experienced the airshow definitely come check it out!
Truly you will enjoy having a tour here. You will have a chance to see and experience naval flights. Mostly the air show is fantabulous. Raptor is special among all.
Every year in July there is an amazing air show, you and your children will get an unforgettable experience from what they saw! Grab some headphones for the kids and for you , take water and get ready for a long line of parking.

The air show was great to watch. Remember no coolers, but you can bring in water and food. Which is good- water is $5/bottle. There are plenty of things to see and do for all ages!
Dayton Airshow, as usual an amazing display of air power and skill, truly a world-class entertainment. Proud to be a Daytonian! This show is a hallmark of birthplace of aviation - Dayton. Must see!
